Our talented trainers strive to enhance the lives of retired racehorses by training them in other disciplines such as hunters, dressage, eventing, polo, and freestyle.
Through CoExist stables, our trainers are top rated instructors as well. We strive to ensure that all of our students appreciate the TRACS mission and become stewards for these amazing horses.
CoExist Stables hosts multiple schooling shows per year to foster a new generation of equestrians. The stables also has a show team that travels with the the RRP team to multiple shows throughout the region to prepare for Kentucky.
CoExist Stables opened in June of 2018 with a mission to create a place where all riding disciplines, as well as all levels of riders can learn from each other in a friendly and safe environment. Our riders include individuals, families and students who come for lessons or to board their horses in our beautiful 30 acre setting. We attract customers locally from Mt. Airy, Frederick and Columbia, as well as from as far as Pennsylvania and Virginia. Here at CoExist, we are embarking on our second year of participation in the Retired Racehorse Project (RRP). To take our work to the next level, we have created a 501c3 non-profit through the Community Foundation of Carroll County (Tax ID-52 186 5244). This project not only allows us to adopt and foster off the track racehorses, but it provides our world class trainers an opportunity to teach these horses a new career while fostering an appreciation of this beautiful breed of horse with our students. In our newly established TRACS (Thoroughbred Retraining at CoExist Stables) non-profit program, our goal is to compete in the national RRP competition at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Through our training, these horses will make a great showing across multiple disciplines. To make this hope a reality, we are looking for your potential generosity to help these horses in this unique transition to their second lives.
